French Montana, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, and record executive. He is the founder of Coke Boys Records. In 2012, he signed a joint-venture recording deal with Bad Boy Records and Maybach Music Group.
French Montana released his mixtape debut in 2007 and had a breakthrough in 2010 with the single “Choppa Choppa Down.” His debut studio album, Excuse My French, dropped on May 21, 2013, followed by his second studio album, Jungle Rules, in July 2017. Jungle Rules peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and included the global hit “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee, which became his first song as a lead artist to reach the top 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
Over the years, French Montana has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Drake, The Weeknd, Cardi B, and Post Malone, further cementing his status as a major player in the hip-hop and pop music industries.
